We built a sales concierge that closes in the chat

Three tiers, a live score aha moment, and in-chat checkout. What we learned building an AI concierge that actually sells.

Most “AI sales bots” are an open chat window with a prayer attached. We went a different way, and the difference is the whole result.

The reframe that unlocked it

Level 1 is a chatbot that sells. Level 2 is a guided journey that happens to be conversational.

The research is lopsided here. Quiz funnels convert at 30 to 50 percent where static forms sit near 2 to 10, because they break the buying decision into easy taps and hand the visitor a personalized insight before any pitch shows up. And the oldest stat in sales still rules everything: answer a lead in the first minutes and you qualify at multiples of the rep who waits a day. An AI concierge answers in one second, at 2am, every time.

So the concierge is a pre-loaded decision path with a brain. Tap-first, typing optional, one question per screen, progress always visible. Chat is the escape hatch, never the spine.

Three tiers, plain words

  • PUBLIC. The help assistant on the site, open to everyone.
  • PRIVATE. The personalized Sales Concierge… it knows who you are and what you’ve bought.
  • PAID. The expert team member you’re paying for.

The Seven Steps

Every session runs the same skeleton. Modes change the skin, never the bones.

  1. Recognize. Greet by name, from a real human face, and prove we remember them in one specific line.
  2. Diagnose. Three or four questions max, one per screen, tap-to-answer, most likely answer pre-highlighted.
  3. The aha. Before ANY pitch, give them something real: a scored snapshot of where they stand, computed from their answers. This is the screenshot moment. If they leave now, they still got value… that’s the test.
  4. Prescribe. One recommended path, visually elevated, built FROM their answers so it feels co-authored.
  5. Prove. One real testimonial matched to their situation, real numbers only, the guarantee said out loud before they ask.
  6. Close. The dynamic CTA (next section).
  7. Reassure. The ten seconds after purchase are peak anxiety. Confirm what just happened and what arrives when. A buyer who feels safe doesn’t refund.

Sell now, book the human, or nurture

“Can we just sell right there?” gets a rule, never a vibe. At close time the bot computes three variables:

  • Trust. Do they know us? Past buyer beats engaged lead beats cold opt-in.
  • Heat. Do they want it now? Price questions, completed diagnosis, positive signals.
  • Weight. How heavy is the ask? Price and complexity from the offer catalog.

In-chat checkout fires when trust is warm, heat is hot, and the offer needs no custom scoping (the $47 to $1,500 zone is the sweet spot). High weight books the human. Low heat exits warm with an emailed plan and the door open. Zero dead ends, every exit lands somewhere with a next step.

What this means for your funnel

The cart step is dissolving into the conversation. The brands that win it will be the ones whose bot carries a real brain: your offers, your proof, your voice, loaded as data. That’s the system we’re building in public. Watch this feed.
